Accessibility

We make every effort to make a visit to The Rose & Crown as easy and enjoyable as possible for everyone. There is a ramp that leads up to the Garden Room and garden, with an accessible toilet adjacent to the Garden Room.   Our two ground floor bedrooms are wheelchair accessible, both with walk in showers. The Rose & Crown is a very old listed building .  The older part of the building has a number of different levels and steps. There is no lift to the upstairs bedrooms. We have two designated spaces in the car park.

Bicycles

We welcome cyclists at The Rose & Crown and have outdoor lockup racks. We would be happy to look after your luggage if you’re doing a longer ride, and can arrange a local taxi firm to take your luggage to your next stopping place. The National Cycle Route number 1 runs through the village and the Peddar’s Way passes close by.

We will always do our best to fit you in but we recommend that you book your table prior to arrival to avoid disappointment, especially for weekend and summer bookings.

The Norfolk coast is a brilliant area for children with sandy beaches, and so much more.

Dogs

We welcome well behaved dogs at The Rose & Crown. Dogs are allowed in the bars, garden and garden room. They are not allowed in the Cellar Bar. Dogs may stay in their owner’s bedrooms for a small extra overnight charge. We have a number of bedrooms set aside as dog free.

Parking and Electric car charging

We have a large car park to the rear of The Rose & Crown. We have two overnight electric car charging ports available for guests for a small charge. We recommend you book in advance should you wish to use one.

Smoking

We do not allow smoking or vaping in any internal areas of The Rose & Crown, including bedrooms.

Wifi is available throughout The Rose & Crown free of charge.
