Christmas is coming...

The decorations are up, the fires are lit and The Rose & Crown is once again the warmest, friendliest and most welcoming place for your Christmas celebrations.

Gather friends, colleagues or family together. Our Christmas celebration menu is perfect for your sparkling get together, whether for two of you or for twenty two and runs till Tuesday 24th December. Take a look at our Christmas Party Menu. Please get in touch to book and discuss your ideal Christmas party.

And if you are celebrating with us, make a proper evening of it and contact Reception to discuss our special room rate for party guests.

We are closed for food on Christmas Day but the bar will be open from 12 to 2pm.

We wish you all a very happy day and will be flinging our arms wide and much looking forward to seeing you over the rest of the festive period. View our Christmas opening hours.

And don’t forget that if you are visiting friends and family over the Christmas and New Year holiday, our lovely, super comfortable rooms are available throughout. Somewhere to retreat to when the pudding and crackers become too much!    Contact Reception to discuss your requirements and our special rates.

From Boxing Day on we will be serving our delicious seasonal menu, with all the great R&C Classics, plus some more exotic dishes, and some extra special specials. All perfect for before or after a bracing walk on the beach, or when the cracks start to show in the family game of Monopoly.

New Year’s Eve at The Rose & Crown is always a happy, relaxed event. We will be serving our delicious seasonal menu with more extra special specials. No black tie (though you could wear a bit of sparkle), no conga (but maybe…), no having to stay up till midnight (though the bar will be celebrating…). Just a happy time to be together with friends and family.
